We Believe In
Child led
We want free play, guided and led by the children themselves, to naturally spark focused learning experiences.
Engaged learning
Children learn best when they are actively involved in their activities and engaged in exploring their surroundings. It is essential that this interest and curiosity are nurtured and originate from within themselves.
Risky play
We encourage students to learn their boundaries and what feels safe in a supportive environment. Risky play significantly impacts a child's confidence, resilience, perceptual skills, responsibility, character, and spatial abilities.
Being in the elements
Spending the majority of days outside in all kinds of weather promotes resilience, flexibility, improved physical health, and environmental awareness.
Hands on
Through hands-on activities, students engage in farming, gardening, and exploration of the forest environment, fostering a deep appreciation for the natural world.
Community
We aim to build a community where adults and children can share their knowledge and energy to grow together.

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
Dr. Seuss, The Lorax
Farm Kids offers a unique educational experience that connects children with nature. Through hands-on activities, students engage in farming, gardening, and exploration of the forest environment, fostering a deep appreciation for the natural world. The curriculum emphasizes sustainability, teamwork, and problem-solving, allowing children to develop essential life skills while participating in outdoor play. This immersive approach helps to cultivate curiosity and resilience, encouraging children to learn about their surroundings in a safe and nurturing environment. As they build relationships with peers and the land, participants gain a stronger sense of community and responsibility towards the earth. We aim to foster not only academic readiness but also social, emotional, and physical development.
