About Us

Farm Kids is a small farm and forest school for children aged 3-6, located on 17 acres at the Tasker’s farm. Founded by Emily Tasker, who has a deep passion for nature, animals, and personal growth, the school aims to be a safe space away from life’s challenges. It encourages reflection, peace, and renewal. With over 15 years of experience in equine education, Emily wanted to create a learning environment for young children that nurtures their brightness and potential.

Emily Tasker

Emily has her degree in Business Management and has successfully run Fox Hill Equestrians for an impressive 15 years. Her extensive experience in teaching various equestrian sports has thoroughly prepared her for the important role of leading children in this unique farm and forest preschool, equipping her with vital problem-solving and communication skills that are essential in an educational environment. Moreover, she possesses a deep sense of empathy and creativity, which enables her to connect with children and foster a supportive atmosphere for their growth and development.

Emily lives on the farm with her husband and two kids. They have chickens, pigs, horses, dogs, and cats. She enjoys gardening, building, hiking, and horseback riding.
