Our Program
Farm Kids is a multiage school for children ages 3-6.
Our school year runs August-June, following the Barnstead School schedule.
School is open T,W,Th 9am-12pm.
During school, children will have hands on experience caring for the farm animals, gardening, and exploring multiple areas of our forest.
Farm Kids offers a unique educational experience that connects children with nature. Through hands-on activities, students engage in farming, gardening, and exploration of the forest environment, fostering a deep appreciation for the natural world. The curriculum emphasizes sustainability, teamwork, and problem-solving, allowing children to develop essential life skills while participating in outdoor play. This immersive approach helps to cultivate curiosity and resilience, encouraging children to learn about their surroundings in a safe and nurturing environment. As they build relationships with peers and the land, participants gain a stronger sense of community and responsibility towards the earth.
